Cellbot

The Nexus CellBot

Sprint and Verizon may have shunned the Nexus One, but that doesn't mean the handsets can't be put to good use: these Android-controlled, Arduino-powered Cellbots now feature the one true Googlephone as the CPU. At Intel's 2010 International Engineering and Science Fair in San Jose, we got our hot little hands on the DIY truckbots for the first time, and found to our surprise they'd been imbued with accelerometer-based motion control.

Grabbing a Nexus One off a nearby table, It simply tilted the handset forward, back, left and right to make the Cellbot wheel about accordingly, bumping playfully into neighbors and streaming live video the whole time. We were told the first handset wirelessly relayed instructions to the second using Google Chat, after which point a Python script determined the bot's compass facing and activated Arduino-rigged motors via Bluetooth, but the real takeaway here is that robots never fail to amuse

But In My Personal Opion It Makes A Good Mobile Stand.

New Way 2 Flip

Motorola FlipOut

Images of an upcoming Motorola handset FlipOut have surfaced online. Photos of the square shaped Motorola handset were grabbed by Italian HDblog.it. FlipOut has MotoBlur interface layered over the Android Eclair 2.1 operating system. U.S. nationals can expect to see this phone next month in three different colors.Motorola FlipOut has a square form factor in which the screen can be slided to reveal the QWERTY keyboard.

This square handset has a 2.8-inch display screen and runs Android Eclair 2.1 with MotoBlur branding. Inside the FlipOut, Motorola has packed a 700MHz microprocessor, 512MB ROM, and 256MB RAM so that Android's 2.1 update can run smoothly.Apart from that, FlipOut will sport a 3.1 megapixel camera and GPS.  This phone will support 3G networks. It would be interesting to see how this phone performs against the Microsoft's freshly announced Kin One.The Kin One has more rounded corners and bit stubby looking while the FlipOut is purely square in shape. Again, both smartphones seem to target the social network frenzy audience. In a way, it looks like square-DSi. We're yet to get an official word on this smartphone.

Bycycle For A Breifcase

The TaTo Bike...

swiss bicycle maker tato manufactures a bike designed for the daily commuter that holds the rider’sbriefcase directly inside its frame. instead of carrying your bag or attaching a carrier onto the front orback of your bike, tatos have a small void inside their frame they call cssb (central storage system for bicycles).

Their belongings simply insert into the 400 x 320 x 95 mm space with no need to secure it further. their central resting point is ideal for maintaining a natural center of gravity. the bike framesimply juts out slightly to surround the object and the added structure protects the good in case of acollision. the bike sells for about 1400 USD.

When riding a bicycle, how should you transport your belongings? A backpack makes you sweat and hurts your back. Rear and front carriers make your bike difficult to ride and park. But the CSSB system, which is integrated into the structure of the bike frame, does not have these inconveniences. The rider is freed from any weight on his or her body. No need to use accessories to secure items, they are simply inserted from the top and do not require any attachment. They are closer to the center of the bicycle and to the ground, making the ride safer.”

One downside of the design is that the spot for a waterbottle mount on the downtube is lost to the cargo area (update: as pointed out in the comments, the bike features water bottle braze-ons on the underside of the downtube) .

Knee clearance would be my other main concern, but it looks like the opening at the top is fairly narrow so that may not be an issue. I do think the CSSB system is an interesting idea that might work pretty well for short

commutes. It would also be neat to have an optional canvas liner that snaps or otherwise

Skate iPad

The iPad is a tablet computer designed and mlink 2arketed by Apple for Internet browsing, media consumption, gaming, and light content creation.

The touchscreen is a 25 cm (9.7 in) liquid crystal display (1024 × 768 pixels, 132 ppi, XGA) with fingerprint–resistant and scratch-resistant glass. Like the iPhone, the iPad is designed to be controlled by bare fingers, not gloves and styli that prevent electrical conductivity (although there are gloves and styli designed for this use).

Thats What Wikipedia says.....And Know here is something a Pro skater has 2 say

The iPad is a multitasking wonder – it’s a business tool, an e-book reader, a media player and a gaming system. Now we know it can also be a sports equipment, say, a skateboard. Pro skater Chad Knight and Fuel TV host Jeff King test if the iPad is ride-worthy, and yes it is. Kind of. Apple fanboys, LOOK AWAY. This is going to be nasty.Knight’s balancing skills are impressive. The iPad’s weight-bearing skills, erm, not so much.

Here are some video links of the skating pad Link 1 Link 2

The Gaming Chair !!!!!

Here I thought that the Pyramat Sound Chair was the ultimate gaming chair, but I was wrong. Very wrong.

That title definitely goes to the Ultimate Game Chair. The name really gets the point across, eh?

This chair is packed with features. To start off, there are 12 vibration motors throughout the chair that are synchronized with the games action. Nerdy and cool.

As far as sound goes, you can use your stock headphones from a MP3 player etc, or plug the chair into your home stereo system to get full surround sound. There are adjustable 3D stereo speakers built into the chair as well.

Any type of gaming accessory will probably work with the chair, including steering wheels and custom controllers.

Comfort was definitely not overlooked when this chair was designed. It’s all leather material, has an adjustable headrest, leg rest, and even a beverage and remote controller holder. Oh, and I forgot to mention that this chair will give you a nice massage, too. Seriously.

Quite a few game consoles are compatible with the Ultimate Gaming Chair, including the PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, PC, Mac, PS1, and Xbox Live. For audio only, you can use all those and your iPod, DS, PSP, or generic MP3 player.

Just to recap, you get a massage chair, beverage holder, stereo sound, vibrators synced to the game, and a remote holder. If you’re a serious gamer, price means nothing, but if you’re not, the $400 price tag might give you some second thoughts.
